Since its incorporation on June 1, 2005, the Foundation has engaged in a wide range of activities: In the spring of 2006, the Foundation awarded CFE scholarships to 86 seniors from the Class of 2006 in the amount of $300,000. This year, the Foundation announced it would offer scholarships to all 165 members of the Class of 2007 meeting the requirements.

Foundation personnel are currently developing a database to track CFE students and working on a detailed implementation manual for the program.
Fundraising is a major focus of our current efforts. The scholarship program will be funded by donations from the general public—including individual and business donors—along with government grants (if appropriate grants are available from the Department of Education or other agencies) and grants from charitable foundations. In addition, we seek to establish an endowment that will provide the necessary funds for graduating seniors for years to come.
Finally, CFE would like to expand the program into other school systems in North Carolina. We need support from you to help Make College For Everyone!!!
